Freeze kinect mesh

Hi Notchers

Do you know if there is a way to freeze/unfreeze a kinect depth texture, or freeze a kinect mesh?
I use the Kinect Mesh node to generate particles via a Mesh Emitter. I would like to be able to freeze the kinect mesh but have the particles continue to move (so I don’t want to use a Time-stretch on the particle system).

Any ideas?

I’m pretty sure this isn’t doable at present - but I’ll talk to the dev team and see if we can make this workflow better in future.
