FBX animation offset start

I have a short FBX animation in a scene that appears about 52s in and is only 5s long - I tried moving it along in the timeline but it cuts in halfway through the animation.

I’ve definitely set the node to start at 52s instead of trimming the start of the node, as I know that affects nodes with keyframed animation, and I’ve changed the Loop Mode setting between Repeat and One Shot, I’ve also tried changing the Loop Start and End times to be 52s and 5s later.

I’d rather not render out a 57s FBX animation just to get the timing right!

What am I missing?
