Depth image collision with the procedural fall of input?

Hello all,

I’m using a Kinect azure and plugging it into the particle ‘depth Image collision’ node, I want to create a fall off and there is an input called Procedural Falloff, manual says to plug in a Procedural - “Use the SDF values from a procedural system to dictate the falloff”

Does not seem to do anything, has anyone got this working?

I have tried from the Procedural root and generator and checked there in the same world position to the particles. I have also tried other options but I can’t get the same clean collision as I do with the depth image collision node.
