Video playlist , how to use video loader and timeline ? ideas

hi, im goign to create my 1st show with notch. I want to be able to use video content in the background, then use videos in different moment in different areas. also use different cues , to other software (light). I want to do everything based on a sound clip and use some cues to triggger differnt things.

im not sure if notch is the rifght tool to create a playlist of video files and send cues to other sfotware.

Some advice,. tutorial , references ?

What your describing is something a media server is designed to do. You could probably get a setup working in Notch, but it would be a bit overly complex as we don’t have built-in functions for ques and stuff like that.
