Hi I’m trying to export a kinect stream mesh from notch but I get this mesh with missing faces and spare points. My setup is pretty straightforward: I just dropped a ‘kinect2_depth’ from samples project and connect it to a geometry exporter.
kinect geometry export.dfx
At this link you can download the project file, the recorded kinect stream and the alembic output:

You also raised this issue on the Notch usergroup on Facebook, where I replied. Is this issue now resolved?
sorry for the late reply, I was on Holiday last week and couldn’t check my release version.
I’m running notch builder 0.9.23.125 //PLE
I’ve also just updated my Nvidia driver to the last available nvidia studio driver 452.06 (08/18/2020), but nothing changed.
These are my main hardware configuration:
- Motherboard Asus Prime X470-PRO [90MB0XG0-M0EAY0]
- Cpu AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4,350GHz
- nVidia Gigabyte RTX2080 GV-N2080
- Ram DIMM DDR4 32GB Corsair Vengeance 3000 C16 K2
- SSD 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2
Curiously enough the blank spots get more evident approaching negative y axis values…
If it’s an issue related to gpu, is there a way to export using cpu?
Can you use https://www.notch.one/support/contact-us/ to get in touch and provide your dfx for further inspection please?
Thank you Tom,
I just get a new Kinect Azure, I will make few other tests and then I’ll contact support
