Particle spawn location always at scene origin?

Hi all,

Hoping someone can make sense of this issue I’m having or misunderstanding i have.

When i use a particle system with a clone emitter i can always see a cone of particles being spawned at the origin 0,0,0 then quickly flying to the emitter box before being emitted.

Am I doing something wrong, or do i need to just reposition my whole scene so its all underneath the origin?

I was having a similar issue with clone to particles being fed into a rigid body system.

When I applied alot of smoothing and/or dampening the clone to particles geometry would spawn from the origin and fly to the emitter location even though the particle was being spawned from the emitter.

Do you have any smoothing or dampening being applied? Physics?
Can you confirm if the actual particle is flying from the origin or just the clone to particles geometry that is attached to the particle?
A dfx would help as well.
