I’m trying to use a clone cache to save a specific random arrangement of rocks so I can render the same exact scene twice. When I bake the clone cache, it ignores the rock material and only keeps the 3d models. I’ve tried multiple different approaches, materials, and material file types, but none of them seem to work. Seeing as I have to have this rendered out by tonight, I doubt I will find a solution in time and not sure what to do. Hopefully someone with some knowledge will see this in time and has some ideas.
It looks like there is something going on here - we’re investigating it internally. For now, I’d recommend multi-parenting the clone system with the rocks, or using a clone to transform with an array of nulls to place the clone group around. If you could send in your dfx to email@example.com, we could take a look at it more closely too.
