Builder x64 / Skybox

Hello. The “Apply As Environment Map” parameter doesn’t show up in Notch Builder x64 Skybox Node. Not sure if this is a limitation of x64, or if it’s a bug.

We removed this option from the Skybox node in 0.9.21, so it sounds like you haven’t got the latest 32bit build.

Go to the link below and download the latest 32bit version.

You now need to use the environment map node generate environment maps in a scene, you can then apply that to a skybox as an image source - There’s an example in the link below.

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for the information. I am using the 64 bit version. Which I thought was the most recent version. Would you recommend using the 32 bit version you linked?

What I’m attempting to achieve is reflections similar to this example:

At 7 seconds in. You can see the material reflects cloners in the scene, not just the skybox/environment map. Looks like Adrien checked “Dynamic” and “Apply as Environment Map”
