Volume Renderer Particle Color


I have a particle system in which the Volume Renderer is ignoring the color set by the particle emitter or Life Color Shading node. I have no issues with other render types of render nodes, but when using a Volume Renderer node, I can only change the color of the particles by changing the color property on the Volume Renderer node itself. I don’t see a blend mode on this color property, either. What am I missing?

Neat find, I’ve passed it onto the dev team to identify what’s missing exactly. in the mean time, I’d probably just use Procedural volume generator - much higher quality, and you have greater control over the volumes.
