I’m trying to run a Standalone .exe on a fresh PC build. First attempt came up with a “missing msvcp120.dll” error. I looked it up and seemed like the best fix was to install the Visual C++ Redistributable. Now that I’ve installed that - when I double-click the Standalone .exe file, nothing happens.
Codemaster is installed, and my Playback license has been activated successfully on it. PC is running Windows 10 64-bit and has a 3090Ti card running the latest Nvidia Studio drivers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
SOLVED:
BitDefender was blocking the app silently without any reporting that it was doing so (even in the logs). Disabling BitDefender let the app run successfully.
