Particle Mesh Deformer question


Once a Particle Mesh Deformer is made a child of a mesh, I can no long move that mesh around in space - is this a bug or a known performance limitation?

The Particle Mesh Deformer has no Inherit Transform Channels tab in it’s properties, and I’ve tried moving them both via a parent null and via a null attached to the transform modifiers, and via extracing just one transform property and linking it directly.

I can send a dfx to support if you like, but this issue is coming up with literally any mesh and the Particle Mesh Deformer added.
