NOTCH LC 100 definition

What does the 100 refer too?
I’m accustomed to optimal, best in settings but have a client requesting Notch LC 100…

Thanks
Andrew

I’m honestly not sure. Do you have a reference for where that term is being used?

Hi Graham,

It’s at the bottom of the graphic about performance

Written as notch LC @ 100

The quality slider (more specifically the range from ~75-100, or Optimal to Best) adjusts the resulting quality of the output based on some internal thresholds.
In this case, 100 is simply the maxed-out quality setting for these thresholds; Though the quality difference is not always noticeable.
What you will notice here though is a rather large jump in the file size, sometimes pushing a 20-25% increase.
