I am currently doing a tool to launch NotchLC transcoding directly with notch in command line ( to automate the compression of frames rendered in an other software ). Using After Effect is slower than using NotchLC and need to create a project for each frame sequence, and it’s almost impossible to code any automation with Media Encoder so I was thinking using the -transcode feature in command line directly.
I found a way to do almost all I want with deadline but i still miss one parameter in the command line -transcode feature : I can’t choose the quality level of the output file… I guess by default it is set to “best” but at some point i would need to be able to change it for “optimal” or “good” for faster jobs / lighter files …
Is it possible to do it ?
Is it a feature you plan to add someday ?
