Looking for advice in making smokebox002.dfx

Hi everyone!

For last couple of days I was trying to get same effect as in project smokebox002.dfx, which I can not find anywhere. There is only screenshot included in manual.
Here’s the screenshot:

I was trying to archive the same effect using the same nodes as this included in project screenshot below. I just can’t find the right setting to get this effect.
I am also having a feeling like ‘Field Shadows’ don’t effect on anything witch any settings.
Can you provide some more manuals about fields?
