Hi I’d love to use notch to do some creative things with captioning for a new accessible theatre piece.
Has anyone done any subtitles or captioning in Notch and could give me any pointers?
I’m playing around with the CSV/Table Entry As Text and using google sheets I can have a column with the word count in.
The issue i’m up against is how to control the timing based on the length of line in the script.
The logic would be something like row 1 is called up, plays for x secs depending on word length, then calls up row 2 and repeat.
An added bonus would be triggering the ‘write on / off time’ using the same mechanism.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
