Replacing fbx model by changing its name in containing folder

Hi. Is it possible to manually replace the fbx model in the folder containing it by changing the name of the new model to the name of the old one? And then enabling the project with a newly loaded fbx model with the old name?

This solution works, but every time I manually replace the model, I have to reload it in the program.
The question is whether it is possible to do something like this without reloading the resource

Hey Sebastian,

To replace a model, just resave it onto your machine, and then select it in your resources. Right Click and Replace Resource, as opposed to renaming your file and reimporting another version of the same thing.
