Does anyone have recommendations for best laptop to work in Notch - Primary use will be for working onsite and traveling. The GPU is obviously the main factor but any other considerations?

We generally advise going with the most powerful GPU available within your restrictions as Notch uses GPU computing extensively to achieve the best performance.
The CPU and RAM aren’t something to be overly concerned about, 16GB RAM and an i5/i7 12th Gen CPU will do the job perfectly fine - investing in the GPU as much as possible will get you the best results overall.
We have no plans to make Notch work with silicon MacBooks at this current time.

Always good to take note of the ventilation in the laptop design as well. Everything will perform better if it’s can stay relatively cool especially when it may be crammed into a tight spot or with lots of other hot machines.
