I noticed that a few people were having problems connecting to Optitrack systems, so I’m going to cover it here so everyone can see it in future.
Firstly, Optitrack is only available to Pro users, so Learning and Base licenses wont be able to use this feature.
For connection issues, these usually problems arise with getting Optitrack to connect with Notch when entering the IP Address into Notch. While this can work, networks being what they are it can be unreliable - so we usually suggest you don’t manually type in the IP address. leave the IP address blank, hit connect - Notch will use the Optitracks SDK to autofind the Optitrack system. If that doesn’t work, it’s likely there is an issue with your network setup, as in that case the SDK itself can’t find it on the network at all.
