Hello. I’m working on a project that is going to be sent to multiple media servers. I have the pixel maps which are eight 3160x2140. I have UVs for the mesh, but I’m just looking for the most efficient way to arrange multiple camera views on a single output. I can’t use region cameras because of the shape of the mesh. I have been told that a way to arrange it would be to use Render to Texture nodes sent to Image 2Ds. Is that the best approach, or should I create meshes that are based on the pixel maps? Thanks for any advice or pointers!
Are you outputting the UV maps, perspective camera renders, or both?
If just UVs, you can control the Output UV transforms on the 3d object.
If you want multiple perspective renders, then you’ll need to go the Render To Texture route.
Thanks Ryan. Found a solution with the Render to Texture nodes and a mesh laid out like the pixel maps. Seems to be doing the job.
