[Feature Request] Node option tooltips

I’ve been enjoying learning Notch so far and the manual has been helpful. I think a small change to the interface could speed up the learning process a little: Tooltips for the node options.

At first I had assumed that the question mark button to the left of some node options would show some information about the option when hovering, instead it opens the Property dialogue. There’s nothing wrong with this functionality but perhaps Notch could pull the option information from the current version of the manual and display it in a tooltip when hovering over the option?

It’d still be good practice to have the manual open in another window for reference but this would make some option info more immediately visible.

Hey there,

Yeh this is something we are looking at in future, but there’s some systems we need to overhaul internally to get it to work right. it’s definitely on the to do list, but no time frame right now :slight_smile:
