[Feature request] Better UI scalability for Main editor window

In custom layouts, I notice that the icon group spacing in the Nodegraph toolbar is fixed, so the playback controls get cropped when the window size is reduced:

It would also be nice to be able to split off or close the Nodes panel.

Thanks for the feedback Dylan! This is indeed a known issue and one that is likely going to be addressed in a future major release which includes a whole other set of UI/UX updates.
